There are many Arizona RV Parks for a person to choice from; still there are many things to consider when planning your trip to Arizona. How much money would you like to spend? What time of year are you planning your trip? Would you like the RV Park to have more of a rustic feel or would you prefer the RV Park to have more accommodations? Is it important that the park is small for a more intimate feel or would you like it to be big with many people around? These are all valid questions that any person planning an RV trip should ask themselves.

In Arizona there are many different types of RV Parks. Doing all the research can be a pretty time consuming project. If you are looking for a quick reference for some of the better parks in Arizona here is a list of some RV parks that might give you a better idea as to what you are looking for.

The San Jose RV Park and Lodge is located at 1002 Naco Highway Bisbee, AZ 85603. The price is right at $13.50 a night some of the amenities they offer are restaurant, swimming pool, and cable TV. There are 50 lots at this RV Park.

Mohave County Parks, Davis Camp is located at 2251 Highway 68 Bullhead City Arizona. The price ranges from $20.00 a night to about $25.00 a night depending if you want full hook up or only partial. There are many activities for the rv family to partake in including water sports, fishing, and swimming.

The Cottonwood Campground located in Chinle is free on a first come first serve bases. It is open year around but does not offer any kind of hook-up. It does have cold running water and toilets. If you are really looking to rough it, then Cottonwood might be a good choice for you.

The Bathtub Campground is located at Douglas Ranger District,3081 N. Leslie Canyon Rd. Douglas, AZ 85607. It is 25 sites and is free on a first come first serve bases. There is flushing toilets and cooking grills. RVs cannot exceed 16ft in length.

The Grand Cannon Railway RV Park is located at 233 North Grand Canyon Boulevard Williams, AZ 86046. This Arizona RV Park has many things to offer the whole entire family. There is a playground, horseshoe pit, hot tub, laundry, volleyball, cable TV, hot showers, and much more.

The Jacob Lake Campground is located 30 miles south and east of Fredonia at the intersection of US 89A and AZ 67. It is only $10.00 a night but you do have to stay there for 5 nights. The elevation is 8,000 feet so prepare for some chilly nights. They have hiking and horseback riding as some fun activities to do during the day. Some of the other things this campground offers are flush toilets, drinking water, a restaurant, and a convenient store.

The Acacia Campground is located at Mesa Ranger District, 5140 E. Ingram St., Mesa, AZ 85205. The cost can range from $6.00 to $17.00 a night. They do have a beach for swimming but there are no showers available.

The Clear Creek RV Park is located at 4483 E. Highway 260, Camp Verde, AZ 86322. It is about $25.00 a night and is open year around. Some of the things it offers are electric hook up, sewer and water hook up, Laundromat, and a convenient store. The lots are a decent size for privacy and there are separate showers and bathrooms.

The Wild Cow Springs Campground is located Hualapai Ridge Road in Kingman. It is located on the Hualapai Mountains, at a 6,200 foot elevation. The Hualapai Mountains are green and rich with color. Surrounding the mountains is the desert. It is about 20 degrees cooler on the mountain compared to the dessert. The price ranges from $5.00 to $15.00 a night. They offer vault toilets, cooking grills, fire rings, and picnic tables. If you decide to go to the Wild Cow Springs Campground be prepared to rough it.

The Crossroads Campground is located 7 miles south of Parker Dam in Lake Havasu City. If you just need a place to stay for the night then this is perfect at just $4.00 a night. It is very small with only 12 campsites, so in the heart of the busy season don’t be surprised if there is no room for you. There are vault toilets and picnic tables.
