Pennsylvania Campgrounds
Pennsylvania has alot to offer anyone that visits there. You can take a trip back in time in Lancaster, go skiing in the Poconos, enjoy the city life in Philadelphia, maybe even party in Pittsburgh home of the Steeler's. Pennsylvania is a large diverse state that is a must see on all travels agendas.
HERSEYHersey which is in the heart of Amish Country is also home to Hershey Park the famous chocolate company. While visit you can stay at Elizabeth/Hershey KOA RV Campground. KOA has campsites all over the country if you have stayed at one previously and enjoyed than i suggest you checkout this campground. Like most KOA campgrounds they offer basic hookups, bathrooms and showers. They also have a a few fun activities such as crafts,hayrides, bonfires, outdoor sports and movie nights. KOA is just minutes from Hershey Park or Lancaster. In the surrounding areas you well also find the National Civil War Museum, tour the Harley-Davidson Factory or be able to visit Lake Tobais Wildlife Park.
You could also stay at Hershey Conewago Campground. This RV Campground has tons of exciting activities that are fun for everyone. You can go swimming,play mini golf,basketball,tennis and baseball. They offer Wi-Fi internet access in parts of the campground. Each RV campsite has the basic hookups and there are public showers and restrooms. When you stay here you will be just minutes away from the Herr\'s potato chip factory and of course Hershey Park. You could also visit Dorney Park and Wild Water Kingdom and the Crayola Factory which are just a short drive from the campground.
Hershey High Meadow Campground is also located in Hershey,Pennsylvania. The Campground is open Year round and log cabins as well as RV campsites. While here you can take advantage of the beautiful scenery while participating in some great outdoor activities. Some of those activities are swimming, shuffleboard, horseshoe pits, basketball and they often offer arts and crafts. RV campsites have your basic hookups. There is a country store, laundry room, showers and restrooms available. If you pay a small fee you can use the wireless internet service they offer. While staying at the High Meadow Campground you will be within minutes of the Chocolate Spa which is a chocolate spa treatment offered at a spa near Hershey Park. If spas aren't your thing you could always play a round of golf a Hershey Golf Collection.
GETTYSBURGGettysburg is also an exciting stop to make if you are interested in the Civil War it was the site of many Civil War battles.They also have a few modern day attractions if your not so big on history.
While your visiting you could stay at Drummer Boy Camping Resort. They have offer different hookups depending on the package you choose. If you want to most out of your RV experience i suggest the best package with is only a few dollars more than the basic deal. They have extra amenities too such as a pool, store, game room, and mini golf course. The campground is located just minutes from major cities such as Washington D.C,Baltimore,Hershey or Lancaster. Drommer Boy Campground also has theme weekends. You can find a list of them on there website.
Round Top Campground is also in Gettysburg. This RV campground has an olympic size pool,kiddie pool,tennis,volleyball,basketball,laundry room,movie theater,public restrooms and showers. Full hookups including cable are available on RV sites. While visiting Gettysburg you can visit the historic Civil War battlefields. Also close by is New oxford Antiques,Boyd\'s Bear Country and a large outlet mall. You will be within minutes of Hershey Park,Lancaster Amish country and the Harley-Davidson factory.
If your visiting Pennsylvania for the historic sites or the new modern cities there is sure to be something to make everyone in your group happy. There will certainly be a RV Campground close by so you can bring the comforts of home anywhere you may go.
